| This fused glass butterfly was created using glass frit and powders to "paint" the butterfly wings before they were fused on another sheet of clear crystal prism. It was created to see how far we could push faceting fused glass creating works of art consisting of multiple pieces. It was originally going to be a hanging sun catcher, however its balance will not cooperate. This is a prototype for more to come. We are looking for a finer tuned color pattern in the wings and possible flower bases for future butterflies. |
