| The Triptic The triptic crystal design, especially one with sharp contrasting faces of depth such as this one creates an over the top optical illusion. It only has one major facet on each edge with a few trims and facets cut specifically to manipulate the optical illusion inside. The spike in the center of the converging facets creates a spiked wheel. A tapered facet with a curved tip enhances light manipulation. It stands 3 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches wide, 1 1/8 inch thick. The images with split rainbows (Rainbowscapes) can certainly been seen in any home however you will need another glass prism to create the rainbow, and then set your piece on it.
